Tagaytay City, with its world-famous view
of the Taal Volcano, is one of the country’s favorite
destinations for locals and foreigners alike. For many city
dwellers, it’s their best bet for a quick weekend
getaway to just relax and recharge their bodies because
it is only an hour away from Metro Manila and for its cool
climate all year round. With its rolling hills, cool climate
and clean air—Tagaytay is a center for leisure activities

Tagaytay City is in the Province of Cavite, in Luzon. It
lies approximately 56 kilometers south of Metro Manila and
it overlooks three major geographic landmarks—the
Manila Bay on the North, Taal volcano and Taal lake on the
south and Laguna Bay on the east. Tagaytay is connected
to the Metro Manila and the province of Batangas by a National
Highway. Roads from municipalities such as Calamba, Sta.
Rosa in Laguna from the northeast and the towns of Talisay,
Batangas from the south lead up to Tagaytay.
